If we’ve learned anything from social media it’s that human beings are incredibly easy to deceive. Many people are willing to believe wild conspiracy theories that are questionable at best and demonstrably false at worst. Even if the deception is as small as Bigfoot, our willingness to keep believing things in spite of all evidence to the contrary is extraordinary. But there is a point where believing things that aren’t true impacts more than our Facebook posts. When does our ability to be deceived affect our spiritual lives, and even keep us from walking the narrow road of life?
