Have you ever known someone who was a wolf in sheep’s clothing? Someone who wasn’t what they presented themselves to be? This is a saying that originated with Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount when he cautioned his followers to beware of people like that. But, is it possible to be a wolf and not be aware of it? How would we know? With this warning Jesus gives a way to identify the wolf in sheep’s clothing and to determine if that wolf might be us.
