When Paul tried to join the disciples, they were afraid of him. Given his history of persecuting Christians, their hesitation made sense. But Barnabas saw what God was doing in Paul and helped the others see it too. It’s easy to believe people can change until their past, personality, or pace makes us uncomfortable.
