HSHM provides case management and other supportive services to the homeless such as shelter, hot meals, access to clothing and toiletries, and job training. Their goal is to help people find independence, restore their hope and share the love of Jesus Christ with them.
Children’s Advocacy Center
CASA promotes and protects the best interests of children who have been abused and neglected by providing well-trained volunteers to advocate for these children through a trauma focused lens until a safe and permanent home is secured for them.

Project Oz
Project Oz provides counseling, education and career planning, student support services, safety planning, and healthy living strategies to students and families in Unit 5 and District 87.
Recycling Furniture for Families
RF4F collaborates with over 30 local social service agencies and churches who are working with families in need throughout McLean County. These qualifying families fall into at least one of the following categories:
- Persons fleeing domestic violence
- Persons coming out of homelessness
- Persons living with incomes at or below the federal poverty guidelines.
Western Avenue Community Center
Through youth programs, interpretation services, and more, the Western Avenue Community Center serves those in need by opening doors of hope and love through faith in Jesus Christ.
Big Brothers Big Sisters
Big Brothers Big Sisters provides mentoring in two ways: Community-based mentoring, where the mentor and child meet outside of school hours, as well as site-based, where mentors visit with their child once weekly during the school day.
