Why Did God Kill Them?
Why Did God Kill Them?
What would it actually take for God to kill someone? It sounds extreme until you read it in the Bible. No warning. No second chance. Just gone.
The first followers of Jesus didn’t have to guess. They saw it happen. In Acts chapter 5, Ananias and Sapphira gave money, but weren’t completely honest about it. And they died. It looks like God killed them for doing something he didn’t like. But what kind of God does that? And why?
Stories like this raise difficult questions. Questions that make people wrestle with faith… or walk away from it entirely. So what is really going on here? Is God harsh and unpredictable, or is something deeper being missed?
