Christmas is not always what we hope or expect it to be. Things get weird. You get a terrible present and have to pretend “it’s perfect.” People talk politics, and it gets ugly. The reality is though, it’s not just Christmas, life in general is not always what we expect it to be. Thankfully, it’s a weird, un-hoped for Christmas that helped bring Jesus into our world.
