When we need help with something, we go to the person who has authority in that area. When our car breaks down we go to a mechanic, not a carpenter. But authority is not something people blindly accept. Whether big or small, we want some evidence that we can trust someone – proof of authority. We are asked to put our faith in Jesus, but is there proof of his authority? And what would that proof look like?

Matthew 8:23-27
