Make a difference for people in need!
This Fall you have an opportunity to help provide Thanksgiving meals to your neighbors in need. In partnership with Home Sweet Home Mission, The Midwest Food Bank, and numerous other churches in our community, we will be collecting food and funds to feed hungry families this holiday season.
We need you to help us collect items for meal boxes that will be distributed during Thanksgiving. Last year’s efforts helped feed 1,577 families, and this year we expect to help even more.
How can you help?
You can help by either buying the food items below and bringing them to Compass, or by giving toward their purchase – whichever is more convenient for you. Our final collection day will be Sunday, September 16.
We encourage you to pick up or give whatever you can. The cost of providing a full meal is $55, but there is no amount to small to make a difference this Thanksgiving. Something as simple as a box of stuffing can show someone in need that there are people in their community who care about them. Let’s love our neighbors by feeding families in need!
