Make a difference for people in need!
This Fall you have an opportunity to help provide Thanksgiving meals to your neighbors in need. In partnership with Home Sweet Home Mission, The Midwest Food Bank, and numerous other churches in our community, we will be collecting funds in order to buy food to feed hungry families this holiday season.
We need you to help us collect funds to purchase meal boxes that will be distributed during Thanksgiving.
How can you help?
Home Sweet Home and The Midwest Food Bank can make a dollar go much further than we can. Through strategic partnerships with vendors, they can purchase food items in bulk and for considerably less than it would cost us to go to the store. Because of that, we are focusing our efforts on one significant financial donation.
We encourage you to give whatever you can. The cost of providing one full meal is $55, but there is no amount to small to make a difference this Thanksgiving. Whether you can give toward a partial meal, a full meal, or one hundred full meals, your gift will show someone in need that there are people in their community who care about them. Let’s love our neighbors by feeding families in need!
We will be collecting the final gifts on Sunday, October 20. You are invited to join us that Sunday to celebrate what God is doing through our church to serve our community!
